Alex Wilpula and Ashton Headley were huge no matter where they played even without the win. On the mound, Wilpula struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Meanwhile, Headley tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
