Sterling Heights had lost ten straight at home dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 0-11 to make it 11. They lost 22-9 to the Center Line Panthers. On the bright side, the nine- run performance marked the Stallions' highest-scoring match to date.

For Center Line's part, Dylan Fenger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off seven hits. Those eight strikeouts gave Fenger a new career-high. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and one RBI.
