Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hoover). They snuck past the Southwest SD Raiders with a 68-64 win on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Southwest SD lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brandon Borja, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of River Diaz, who had 12 points.

Hoover's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Southwest SD, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Hoover didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-51 win against Highland on the 26th. As for Southwest SD, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-43 victory against Morse on the 23rd.
