Basketball Recap: Northside Methodist Academy Takes a Loss

Northside Methodist Academy lost against Houston Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Northside Methodist Academy Knights took a blow against the Houston Academy Raiders, falling 93-48. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 388th, while the Raiders are ranked 133rd).

Northside Methodist Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Houston Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside Methodist Academy will host Slocomb at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Slocomb will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Northside Methodist Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Houston Academy, they will challenge Wicksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
