South Sevier is  a perfect 7-0 against Millard since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will square off against the Eagles at 3:30  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Sevier has four straight  victories, Millard has eight straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
South Sevier hadn't beaten Richfield on the road since March 24, 2015 but that history sure didn't bother them  on Thursday. The Rams put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp  9-2 win. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by seven  runs or more this season.

 Ryker Freeman was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out ten batters over  4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. That  double marked the first that  he has  hit this season.
 In other pitching news,  Stockton Roberts looked comfortable as he  tossed 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Kameron Hessey, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Peyton Ingram, who  went 4-for-5 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 South Sevier  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Richfield only posted  an  OBP of  .281.
 Millard might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  13-2 to Delta, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
 South Sevier's record is now 17-5. As for Millard, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.
South Sevier's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's   game. The Rams have been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.1  stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Millard, though, as  they've been averaging  only 1.3  stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will South Sevier continue to outrun the ball?
 South Sevier took their  victory against Millard  when the teams last played  on Tuesday by a conclusive  13-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
