East Bakersfield's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaylie Demison, who had 13 digs and two aces. Demison is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Roxanna Ramirez, who had 13 assists and four aces.
They weren't the only good servers: East Bakersfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 11 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Tehachapi made easy work of South on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.
The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-21.
East Bakersfield's victory bumped their record up to 13-7-1. As for Tehachapi, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.
