The Mayer Wildcats lost against the Salome Frogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Mayer had to suffer through a rough 62-33 loss at the hands of Salome.
Salome's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jibran Castillo, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jovany Calderon, who scored 17 points.
Mayer's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Salome, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Mayer will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Antelope at 6:00 p.m. Salome is on the road again on Saturday and play against Cicero Prep Academy at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Cicero Prep Academy is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
