The Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 53-46 victory over Columbus East. Given Franklin Community's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Columbus East is ranked 221st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin Community will be home for the holidays to greet Beech Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
