When it comes to explaining why Palmer Trinity lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jade Leon. Despite the final result, she scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds. Leon scored a full 30.8% of Palmer Trinity's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynne Sullivan, who scored 6 points.
Palmer Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Miami Country Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.
