After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Mansfield Summit finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 13-0 to the Centennial Spartans. The Jaguars' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Mansfield Summit saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zachary Randall, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Mansfield Summit's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-14. As for Centennial, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-8.

While Mansfield Summit had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
