The Dunbar Poets waltzed into their match Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. Everything went their way against Aberdeen as Dunbar made off with a 74-50 win. This was payback for Dunbar, who suffered a 58-54 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, Aberdeen still got an impressive performance from DARION PARRIS, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds. PARRIS scored a full 44% of Aberdeen's points, the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was MARLON JENIFER, who scored seven points.
Dunbar's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Aberdeen, their loss ended a 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-3.
