Santiago extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 10-6 in the process. They didn't even let the Anaheim Colonists on the board, marking the Cavaliers' second-straight 10-0 shutout. Considering the Cavaliers have won eight matches by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ihilani B was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ava D, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. Aiyanna M was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Santiago was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

As for Anaheim, they moved to 16-2 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak. The contest marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

On Anaheim's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Falt, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santiago will face off against Western at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Anaheim, they will head out to take on Valencia at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Colonists surely won't give up without a fight.
