There's no place like home for the Osmond/Randolph Hawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 38-35 victory over Wausa on Monday. This was payback for Osmond/Randolph, who suffered a 55-37 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Leading Osmond/Randolph to victory were Luke Harder and Hunter Buchanan. Harder scored eight points, while Buchanan scored nine points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Wausa still got an impressive performance from Colton Baue, who scored 16 points.
Osmond/Randolph's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Wausa, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Osmond/Randolph will look to defend their home court on Friday against Stuart at 7:45 p.m. Hopefully Stuart focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Tuesday. As for Wausa, they and Hartington-Newcastle will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
