Basketball Recap: Travis Musonda Key Part of a Team Effort in Roughriders Win

Balboa saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Our Saviour Lutheran Falcons by a score of 60-52.

Balboa's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Travis Musonda, who went 7 of 10 en route to 21 points. The dominant performance also gave Musonda a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Apolo Caetano, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 14 points and six rebounds.

Balboa's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Our Saviour Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Balboa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-46 loss against 1 of 1 Academy on the 29th. As for Our Saviour Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-59 win against Prince George's Christian Academy on the 29th.
