In other batting news, East Davidson got a massive performance out of Nikki Beal, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those four hits gave Beal a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaycee Lewis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
East Davidson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Davidson only posted an OBP of .432.
East Davidson is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for South Davidson, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
