The Basketball Hall of Fame's Spalding Hoophall Classic is shaping up as a can't-miss event once again in 2013.
Scheduled for Jan. 17-21 at Blake Arena in Springfield, Mass., both the defending Xcellent 25 and Academy national champions – as well as the likely preseason No. 1s in both categories – will participate.
The defending champs are
St. Anthony (Jersey City, N.J.) (Xcellent 25) and
Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) (Academy). MaxPreps.com's early leaders for preseason No. 1 are
Simeon (Chicago) (Xcellent 25) and
Montverde Academy (Fla.) (Academy).
