The Hopi Bruins will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Round Valley Elks at 6:00 p.m. Hopi is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
Hopi suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2023 on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 57-23 loss at the hands of St. Johns. Hopi was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-14.
Meanwhile, Round Valley scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Greyhills Academy 84-8 on the road. Round Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.
Hopi bumped their record down to 7-12 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Round Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.
