Plymouth took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Coe-Brown Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Bears 7-5. Seven seems to be a good number for the Bobcats as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Emilya Perras was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Perras was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
In other batting news, Peyton Moore was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs. Sydney Dekutoski was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
