Woodcrest Christian took a serious blow against Linfield Christian, falling 68-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Woodcrest Christian has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Linfield Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Drew Pierce, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Pierce is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Xavier Cox, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Woodcrest Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season. As for Linfield Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-16.
Woodcrest Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Linfield Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Dana Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dana Hills will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Linfield Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
