After a string of four wins, Greenwood's good fortune finally ran out  on Saturday. They fell to the Bolivar Liberators  52-46. The Blue Jays lost against the Liberators in their previous head to head  back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the  70-39 score last time.
Greenwood's defeat  ended  an  eight-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 8-4. As for Bolivar, the  victory was  the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
 Greenwood will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mansfield at 6:00  p.m.  on January 10th. As for Bolivar, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  64-49  defeat against Republic on the 30th.
