It was a good run, but the Byron Nelson Bobcat unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They suffered a rough 66-42 defeat at the hands of Keller. While losing is never fun, Byron Nelson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Indians are ranked 12th).
Brooks Bahr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Keller, scoring 19 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Bahr is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 19 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Rhett Schank, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Byron Nelson's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-11. As for Keller, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-5.
Byron Nelson will take on the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Keller Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. As for Keller, they will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
