Hooker has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Texhoma Red Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Oklahoma (Hooker is ranked 113th, while the Red Devils are ranked 124th).
Last Tuesday, Hooker was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 39-34 to the Redskins.
Meanwhile, Texhoma stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 66-33 victory over Forgan on the road. The win was just what Texhoma needed coming off of a 63-43 loss in their prior matchup.
Hooker's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Texhoma, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.
Hooker came up short against the Red Devils in their previous meeting back in January, falling 58-49. Can Hooker avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
