A well-balanced attack led the Mineral County Serpents over the Pyramid Lake Lakers in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Mineral County took down Pyramid Lake 56-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mineral County.
DeVayne Isom was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with five rebounds and three steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Triston Jones, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Mineral County pushed their record up to 10-8 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Pyramid Lake, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
