The Brookland Bearcats entered their tilt with the Forrest City Mustangs with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Brookland won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Forrest City 21-20. That's another feather in the cap for Brookland, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Roshawd Washington and Dakwon Scott certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Washington picked up 147 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Scott threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes. Washington's longest reception was for an incredible 82 yards.
Brookland's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Forrest City, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9-1.
Brookland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Forrest City also has no future games currently scheduled.
