When it comes to explaining why Churubusco lost, one person who can't be blamed is Patty Wiggs. Despite the final result, she scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Wiggs continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Eby, who scored nine points.
Prairie Heights' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7. As for Churubusco, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
