The Pataula Charter Academy Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Terrell County, falling 72-41. Pataula Charter Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-17.
Michael Carter was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points for Terrell County. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaheed Huckaby, who scored 14 points.
Pataula Charter Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Terrell County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Pataula Charter Academy will head out on the road to face off against Randolph-Clay at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Terrell County, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Stewart County at 4:30 p.m. Stewart County is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
