The Bogalusa Lumberjacks will face off against the Union Parish Farmers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bogalusa walked away with it. They blew past the Tigers 28-7. Winning may never get old, but Bogalusa sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Meanwhile, Union Parish took their contest on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 35-6 victory over Port Allen. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Union Parish.
Union Parish got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chase Meeking out in front who picked up 145 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Hill , who threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.
Bogalusa's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Union Parish, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Bogalusa was taken down by Union Parish 50-0 in their previous matchup back in November of 2018. Can Bogalusa avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
