After flying high against the Cypress Creek Coyotes on Monday, the Springstead Eagles came back down to earth. Springstead was outmatched by River Ridge on the road and fell 58-30. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Springstead in their matchups with River Ridge: they've now lost four in a row.
Springstead's lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Addy Osborne, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Springstead's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for River Ridge, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Springstead will be playing in front of their home fans against Weeki Wachee at 7:30 p.m. on November 29th. River Ridge will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st.
