Trey Mifflin was the best pitcher in 4A District 11 this week, leading
Dunbar. He picked up one win and 17 strikeouts.
Bishop Verot had a successful week, as it won three total games to lead the league. The Vikings beat
Barron Collier 9-7,
Clewiston 5-3 and
LaBelle 18-0.
Although Bishop Verot surrendered only zero walks this week, the lowest number in the league over that span, the Cowboys are still tops for the season with just 28 walks over 81 innings this year.
The Tigers struck out a league-leading 49 times over the past week. Dunbar has struggled at the plate this season, leading the league with 110 strikeouts.
There were seven hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. The group was paced by Brandon Miners, who collected five hits in seven at bats for a .714 average.

DeHaven drove in five runners as the Vikings defeated LaBelle 18-0 on Tuesday. He went 4-for-5 and scored three runs.
Mcguinness Connor struck out 17 in the Tigers' 4-3 win over
Gateway Charter on March 14. Over 11 innings of work, he gave up six hits and four runs.
