 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Bella Parra, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3.  Briana Sanchez was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile, sadly, Santa Rosa is still looking for their first win of the season after eight  games. They fell victim to a  tough 10-0 defeat at the hands of St. Vincent de Paul  on Tuesday.
 The  win  got Piner back to even at 7-7. As for Santa Rosa, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
