Dayspring Christian Academy won the last time they faced Clear Creek and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Golddiggers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Logan Vaniddekinge was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Gavin Bohl was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Josiah Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Dayspring Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Clear Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Coming up, Dayspring Christian Academy will host Dawson School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clear Creek, they will venture away from home to challenge Arrupe Jesuit at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Golddiggers are facing the Generals at the right time seeing as the Generals are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
