The Round Mountain Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 72-55 victory over American Heritage Academy. The win made it back-to-back wins for Round Mountain.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Round Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keiran Swafford, who scored 23 points. Blake Bullington was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Round Mountain has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for American Heritage Academy, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Round Mountain won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Beatty at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. Beatty has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2. American Heritage Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Innovations International at 5:00 p.m. on February 7th.
