Ridgeline had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Logan 53-50.
Carson Cox continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Ridgeline's points. Jagger Francom was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought match, but Green Canyon had to settle for a 40-38 defeat against Bear River on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Green Canyon has scored all season.
Ridgeline has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Green Canyon, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-4 record this season.
