Noble & Greenough had enough points to win and then some against Groton School last Saturday, taking their contest 30-14.
Meanwhile, if Roxbury Latin were riding high off their 28-0 takedown of St. Mark's two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Roxbury Latin and Milton Academy were almost perfectly matched up, but Roxbury Latin suffered an agonizing 7-8 defeat. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
Noble & Greenough didn't have too many spare points in their match with Roxbury Latin the last time the two teams met, but they still walked away with a 34-30 victory. Will Noble & Greenough repeat their success, or does Roxbury Latin have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
