Quitman is 1-9 against the Raiders since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Quitman Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Winnsboro Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Quitman will be strutting in after a victory while the Raiders will be coming in after a defeat.
Quitman came into Tuesday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Winona by a score of 52-43 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Winnsboro unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Chapel Hill on the road and fell 64-33. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Winnsboro has scored all season.
Quitman's win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-22. As for Winnsboro, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.
Quitman took a serious blow against the Raiders when the teams last played back in January, falling 65-32. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Quitman was down 35-13.
