After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sunray, Tulia was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on Sudan with a sharp 14-3 win. That looming 14-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Tulia yet this season.

Tulia let Jarvis Pestrana and Gustavo Trevino run wild. Pestrana went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI, while Trevino scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most runs Trevino has posted since back in March of 2024. Zach Trevino was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Tulia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Tulia now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Sudan, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
