La Salette Academy came out on top against Milford by a score of 54-43 on Tuesday. This was payback for La Salette Academy, who suffered a 47-34 loss the last time these two teams met.
La Salette Academy was led to victory by Elijah Hall and Eamon Martin. Hall scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Martin scored 22 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martin has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Prather, who scored eight points.
La Salette Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Milford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. La Salette Academy will face off against Dupo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dupo is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Milford, they will head out on the road to take on Chrisman at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Chrisman and four for Milford.
