The Northview Vikings put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past South Hills with points to spare, taking the game 50-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Northview also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
Northview's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Justus Peoples, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Caleb Mckendrick was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 10 rebounds.
South Hills' loss came despite strong showings from Andy Barajas and Sean Jones. Barajas scored 11 points, while Jones scored 8 points. The game was Barajas' sixth in a row with at least ten points.
Northview pushed their record up to 6-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for South Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
Northview will take on Chino Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Chino Hills' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests. South Hills' road trip will continue as they head out to face Lakeside at 4:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Hopefully Lakeside focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 on Friday.
