The Sunnyside Wildcats waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with six straight wins  but they left with seven. They came out on top against Hoover by a score of  66-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
 Leading Sunnyside to victory were  Cj Jones and  Malachi Barnes.  Jones  scored 18 points, while  Barnes  scored 20 points. Barnes continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played.  DJ Johnson was another key contributor,  scoring ten points.
 Sunnyside has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for Hoover, their defeat  ended a six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 17-10.
 Sunnyside will head out on the road to  face off against  Sanger West at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. One thing working in Sunnyside's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last 14 contests. As for Hoover, they will be playing at home against McLane at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The timing is sure in Hoover's favor as the  team sits on four straight wins at home while McLane has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
