Halifax Academy has gone 4-0 against Brevard HEAT recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Halifax Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 69-41 win over Florida School for the Deaf & Blind. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brevard HEAT). They claimed a resounding 66-32 victory over Innovation Montessori. The team accrued 53 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.

Brevard HEAT's win came from a few key players Halifax Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Riley Ellis, who went 8 for 9 on his way to 20 points and four steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Roberto Cosa, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 20 points and three steals.

Brevard HEAT was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Halifax Academy pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.3 points. As for Brevard HEAT, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.
