Volleyball Recap: Northwest Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Northwest's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Northeast Eagles. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The win didn't come easy: Northeast scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-27, 25-23.

Northwest has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Northeast, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Northwest will take on Kirkwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northeast, they will venture away from home to challenge West Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
