The Bernstein Dragons can now show off 17 landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 97-35 win over Belmont. The win was just what Bernstein needed coming off of a 67-42 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bernstein to victory, but perhaps none more so than Troy Agtang, who scored 22 points along with two steals. Agtang has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Cordero, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Bernstein is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for Belmont, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bernstein has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Dons at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Belmont will take on the Cobras at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
