In other batting news, Emily Ciancone was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Ella Jenkins was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, Webb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Knoxville Catholic, falling 13-4.
Jeneva Mitchell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs. Terralyn Hill also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.
Webb's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for West, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
