North Fork has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Plateau Valley Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
North Fork proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 24) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged Gunnison out 33-30.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Fork to victory, but perhaps none more so than Moss Inman, who scored 11 points. Henry Hollembeak was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Plateau Valley came tearing into Saturday's contest with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat West Grand 57-14 at home. Plateau Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 23 points or more this season.
North Fork's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Plateau Valley, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
