Meanwhile, Goshen won against Plymouth on Monday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Goshen had just enough and edged Concord out 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Goshen.
Jace Hershberger made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over four innings pitched. Hershberger was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Quinn Shreiner Landes, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, a double, and an RBI.
