Kellam and First Colonial are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2022, but not for long. The Knights will be playing at home against the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Kellam sitting on eight straight wins and First Colonial on nine.
On Tuesday, Kellam was able to grind out a solid victory over Landstown, taking the game 3-1.
Kellam had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 26-24, 25-9, 25-14.

Kellam got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Giulia Alison out in front who had 18 digs. Alison is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabella D'adarria, who had nine digs and two aces.
Kellam was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 17 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, First Colonial got the win against Indian River on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.
First Colonial walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-17.
Kellam's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for First Colonial, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Kellam was able to grind out a solid victory over First Colonial in their previous meeting back in August, winning 3-1. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
