If Trinity were riding high off their 46-0 takedown of Epping/Newmarket last week, that ride came to an abrupt end. On Saturday, Trinity were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 13-18 to Monadnock. Trinity's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
The loss dropped Trinity's record to 3-1. The win bumped Monadnock's record up to 4-0.
Next week Trinity take on Campbell at 1:30 PM. As for Monadnock, they will face off against Newport. Monadnock are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Newport are stumbling in off of four consecutive losses.
