Sulphur Springs dropped their record down to 15-9 on Thursday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell 7-3 to the Panther Creek Panthers. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

As for Panther Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.

For Panther Creek's part, they saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cayd Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Dawson Stokan was another, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
