The Peetz Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Caliche 87-60 at home. The win was familiar territory for Peetz who now have seven in a row.
Peetz's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chance Seglke led the charge by almost dropping a triple-double on 16 points, nine rebounds, and 12 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Naegele, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Peetz's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Caliche, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Peetz will head out on the road to take on the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Briggsdale's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests. As for Caliche, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fightin' Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Haxtun has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 16.
