The Centennial Eagles's ten-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against Port St. Lucie by a score of 13-6. The win was just what Centennial needed coming off of a 36-14 defeat in their prior game.
Phillip Di Marco looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
Centennial's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Port St. Lucie's QB won't forget Eddie Keyes III anytime soon given Keyes III sacked him 3.5 times.
Centennial's win bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Port St. Lucie, they have yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 1-9 record.
Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Port St. Lucie also has no future games currently scheduled.
